The weather is definitely changing here in Montreal. It's 24 degrees today and next Monday it will be 28. I remember those temperatures being reaching only in July/August when I was growing up. Not that I am complaining, because the hotter the better for me, but still, I do notice that it's different. The same when it comes to the snow, it used to snow sometimes starting in October, and now we are lucky if we have snow for Christmas. (again... not that I'm complaining :D) Whether it's global warming or just the natural cycle the Earth takes, I have to say I like it. Of course not if we are ruining the planet and throwing everything out of whack, but I like less snow and more heat. I've been thinking about spending my life somewhere else, but really it's not so bad here. Only about 4 months of winter when it used to be something closer to 6. I do still want to see the world, I just have this ever-increasing love for Montreal.
Yesterday I spent some time around St. Laurent and Prince Arthur and I love it! I don't know why I don't know that area well. I mean I've been to some places like GoGos, Bsides, and some restos, but I've never really gotten to know the area. I like it quite a bit more than the St. Catherine area. So yeah, that's my new mission: get to know that place a bit more.
So I've spent the last two days chilling on mont royal and I love it. I need to start hustling and finding more work, but I am certainly enjoying my time.
OH and I'm also reading The Celestine Prophecy again and I love it just as much. In fact I understand more some of things the book talks about this time than I did the first time. I also suggested that book for book club and now I will have three other people to discuss the book with so that makes me VERY happy! Plus, there will definitely be sangria and a terasse involved soooo what could be better?
It's Carlos birthday tomorrow and my little cousin's!!! :D We'll have a party for them this weekend and I will go out for dinner with Carly tomorrow. AND the weekend after, we are going up north to the Laurentians to a friend's cottage. WOOO HOOO! Seriously, I love nothing better than summer and the outdoors. Oh man! Sometimes I feel like I will explode with too much joy when it's the summer (although technically it isn't even summer yet).
