My Life's Desire
I think one of the things I desired most was to be a muse. I wanted to be loved and adored. I wanted to inspire. It was mostly males whom I wanted as an audience, but females weren't excluded. I had this idea of the type of person I wanted to be and it always had an ephemeral edge to it. I wanted to be a being not completely tethered to this world. I wanted to be otherworldly or magical in some way, always a little a bit apart from human society. Strangely beautiful, wild, unusual and the inspiration behind paintings, poems, and songs.
