Let's Pretend Today was my Bday
So I had one of the best days ever today and I had a really good nite last nite as well.
Hmm let's start from last nite. I went to mckibbins and had a good time. Laur was there, of course, and even Jf and Marc made an appearance. Afterwards, I went to chris' and slept there. He gave me a massage which was super super super awesome. And then the next morning he made me breakfast. OMG, it was so good, you have know idea. There was a bunch of fruit and pillbury croissants and ya... wow, he's the bestest ever. So then reluctantly I went to school, had some okay classes (got to watch a movie in music class hehe) and then i went to visit my granny. She is doing super well and might even be home as early as this sunday! Then I went back to chris' to pick up my stuff (which I ended up just leaving there anyways) and I had supper which was pretty good (pasghetti & bread and salad). Chris and me were wondering what we were gonna do that nite, i was planning to do homework later but then, all of a sudden, I heard Sarah Slean was playing a show at La Tulippe and so we went. OH MAN! SHe is amazing, I'm not even sure I can explain it. Hehe don't ask chris how it was tho cuz he isn't really a big fan. It was super super sweet of him to have went with me tho. Aww.
So ya... she was spectacular. If you wanted my definition of a real artist, it would be her. I have two of her cds but they do not at all compare to hearing her live. GOd, it was sooo gooood! She didn't even sing my favourite song and I'm not even gonna complain. She came out for an encore and when everyone was still screaming for that she came out and did an encore to her encore (much to chris' disappointment... you should have seen his face, it was pretty funny). Man I was loving it. She has a beautiful voice and plays the piano SOO well. She also writes, you can check out some of her work linked on her site if you want to.
ANyways... one of the best day/nite ever!
I'm sooo happy.
I must unfortuntely go to sleep now and go to stage tomorrow.

* Oh ya... i forgot to mention, I also got back one of my political philosophy discussion questions... I got an A baby! (ahem... again, thanks to chris... )
